Private tennis lessons in Southbury, CT
1-on-1 tennis lessons in Southbury, CT for beginners, high school players and adults, from a Pomperaug varsity player and PTR Certified instructor.
Tennis lessons in Southbury
Southbury is home to Pomperaug High School, where Lucas has played varsity tennis since 2023. He earned the #1 singles spot in 2025, went undefeated at #3 singles in 2024, and placed 1st at the Southwest Conference (SWC) Tournament in 2023. If you are a Southbury player hoping to make a school team, or you want an edge in conference matches, private lessons let you work on exactly what is holding your game back.
It is not only for competitive juniors. Beginner tennis lessons, a refresher for adults, or a parent and child who want to start playing together all fit the same simple format: one coach, one player, one hour.
The town's Parks & Recreation department lists public tennis courts at Ballantine Park on Old Field Road and at Community Park on Community House Road, and Southbury courts can be reserved through the town. Your lesson happens at a local public court that is arranged when you book, and Lucas will confirm the details with you.
