Private tennis lessons in Cheshire, CT

Tennis lessons in Cheshire

Cheshire sits on the eastern edge of the More Match Points lesson area, and players from town are welcome to request private tennis lessons. When you send a request, include Cheshire as your town and your preferred times, and Lucas will let you know what he can offer before anything is booked.

The Town of Cheshire's recreation department lists tennis courts at Cheshire Park on Highland Avenue, next to its pickleball courts and pavilion. Lessons are held at a local public court that is arranged when you book; no particular facility is promised in advance.

What you get is simple: one hour, one coach, one player. Lucas is a PTR Certified tennis instructor with a Top 30 USTA ranking in Connecticut, and he has coached children ages 6 to 12 at kids summer camps, so tennis lessons for kids are as welcome as sessions for high school players and adults. Beginners can start with grips, footwork and rallying, while experienced players can dig into serves, returns and match strategy.

Each private lesson costs $45 for one hour, with flexible scheduling and all skill levels welcome.
