Tennis lessons in Newtown
Newtown High School plays in the Southwest Conference, the same league where Lucas Oskwarek has competed for Pomperaug High School since 2023, finishing first at the SWC Tournament in 2023 and playing #1 singles in 2025. If you are a Newtown player getting ready for a high school season, lessons can focus on the parts of your game that hold up under match pressure: a reliable first serve, depth on your groundstrokes and smarter point construction.
Lessons are just as useful away from competition. Adults picking the game back up, beginners learning to rally and kids getting their first real feel for the ball all get the same full hour, 1-on-1, built around their level and goals.
Newtown's town park courts are reserved for Parks & Recreation lessons, so private lessons are not held there. When you request a lesson, choose Newtown as your town and Lucas will arrange a court with you as part of booking.
