Tennis lessons in Danbury
Danbury has public tennis courts in two of its city parks: Rogers Park on Memorial Drive, a 56-acre park with tennis and pickleball courts, and Richter Park on Aunt Hack Road. Your lesson court is arranged with you when you book, and Lucas will confirm the details before your first lesson.
Lucas is a PTR Certified tennis instructor who has played varsity tennis for Pomperaug High School since 2023, including #1 singles in 2025, and he coached children ages 6 to 12 at the Highfield Country Club summer camps in Middlebury from 2022 to 2024. That mix means lessons work for a young beginner learning to rally as well as a teenager preparing for a school season, including players at Immaculate High School, which also competes in the Southwest Conference.
Adults are welcome too, whether you are new to tennis or getting back on court after years away. Every lesson is private, a full hour, with flexible scheduling. Request a lesson with your skill level and preferred times, and Lucas will get back to you to set it up.
